Socially Unsociable Media & Me

Social media, is fantastic for motivating, supporting, celebrating and inspiring each other.

Instagram, for I can post instantaneously and (almost never) spontaneously

Social media, is fantastic for procrastinating, self-loathing, projecting jealousy and inhibiting each other.

Instaharm, for I stupidly instantaneously feel isolated & welcome, simultaneously

The cat didn’t die, but I think curiosity killed our productivity.

You can tap and swipe your way through, encouraging friends in their latest achievements.

And inbetween you can stop and zoom, on people you don’t talk to, what an endearment?

Your progress pictures just aren’t instant enough.

You’re running out of time, we’re running out of time.

Take lots of photos and create your memories.

Be proud of what you’ve done – always, not temporarily.

is it just me? It’s not all bad, it might be just me.

Remember to only post between certain hours, or you won’t get enough likes to keep you sane at night.

How ironic that you are reading this through a link that links you back to the gram, what an internal fight.

Why am I so restless before bed?

Social media is fantastic, you can comment, like, stay incontact and uplift

Don’t get sucked in. Make your own positive shift.

Social media is little bit plastic, you can connect to a world you don’t even care about.

Grow your Booty hashtag cutie.

Congratulations, I want to celebrate you! Your work, your ethic, your help, your – you.

Congratulations, I want to celebrate you! I’ll comment, i’ll like, I’ll share for you.

My eyes are hurting.

Someone posts, living their “best life”, the red hearts are flooding in.

Someone asks for help and support, and tumbleweeds blow in the wind.

Tweet me. Beep me. (Please don’t delete me!)

It’s great we can stay connected through the web,

Now we’re all fly’s stuck buzzing on the net.

My thumbs are hurting. What an awful photo.

I’ll just have a quick scroll; now I feel inspired, I’m motivated for the day.

Swipe. Like. Like. Swipe.

…just a few more minutes – oh great I’ve wasted half my day.

I’m running out of time.

I know what I need to be doing.

Who said I’m running out of time?

There’s a life we should be pursuing.
